VTT + SRT → TXT

Keep the words.
Leave the timestamps.

Convert VTT or SRT subtitles into a readable text transcript. No uploads, accounts or AI rewriting.

or drop it here · up to 2 MB

Speaker grouping uses VTT voice tags. Plain-text names stay as written. Keeping timestamps preserves individual blocks.

VTT to TXT

WebVTT files contain timed captions and may include speaker voice tags. Drop in your export, choose whether to keep timestamps and names, then download plain text.

For example, two consecutive captions by Alice become one paragraph labelled Alice. Speaker names that are missing from the file cannot be recovered.

SRT to TXT

SubRip files contain numbered captions and start/end times. This converter removes that structure while keeping the text in its original order. It does not transcribe audio or change what was said.

Repeated words, dates and numbers in the spoken text are preserved.
